Plan the Best Vacation of your Life!

Welcome to the Point Break

How To Plan A Romantic Weekend Getaway

  1. Hire a babysitter if you have kids. Consider having your children stay at a relative's house, or have the relative stay at your house. If your children are older, consider simply having a friend check in on them once or twice a day.
  2. Account for transportation. Book a flight, get bus or train tickets or rent a car in order to get to your vacation spot. If you're going to drive yourself, have your vehicle tuned before you leave.
  3. Book a hotel room. Go for something romantic, like a cozy bed and breakfast or a suite with a king-sized bed.
  4. Plan activities. You should leave your romantic getaway fairly laid-back with lots of free time, but avoid getting bored by choosing one or two fun things to do together and purchasing tickets in advance.
  5. Make dinner reservations. For a romantic getaway, consider calling ahead to some fancy places to eat instead of scrounging for food when you get there.
  6. Pack your luggage. Take only the bare minimum, but remember to include clothing for special events and fancy dinners.
